Louis Pochanis

Director International Banking, Wealth & Markets

Louis holds the position of Director International Banking, Wealth & Markets since April 2016, and is also in charge of the Shipping Centre. Prior to that, Louis was Director International Banking Services since 2013.

Before being appointed to this role, Louis held the position of General Manager of the Cyprus Investment and Securities Corporation Ltd (CISCO). Prior to that he served as Manager Private Banking and Wealth Management, setting up the Divisions in Cyprus in 1995 and in Greece in 1996.

Previous to the Bank of Cyprus, Louis worked at Price Waterhouse in London between 1989 and 1992, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Louis also holds a Bachelor degree with first class honors in Economics with Accountancy from Loughborough University, UK.

He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CISCO and BOC Asset Management Ltd and a member of the EuroLife Board of Directors. He is also Chairman of the Bank’s Credit Committee 2.
