EuroLife and General Insurance of Cyprus assist in the repatriation of vulnerable groups

EuroLife and General Insurance of Cyprus are joining the collective effort of dealing with the pandemic. Among other initiatives, and in coordination with the Ministry of Transport, the two companies have paid the cost of a flight to repatriate citizens belonging to vulnerable groups.

The safe return of our fellow citizens who can no longer stay abroad and those who need the help of their own people is a priority for the state. The two leading insurance companies of Cyprus are providing resources to create the conditions for their return in the most suitable way that protects both their own health and that of the society.

Louis Pochanis, Director of the two Insurance Companies, said: “By bringing people in real need back to their families, EuroLife and General Insurance of Cyprus are sending out a strong message: ‘we are not alone!’ By showing compassion and cooperating closely together, the state, the business world, the people, and the Cypriot society as a whole, are fighting to overcome these difficult days more united and stronger than ever. Just as was the case in the past, we maintain faith in our abilities and remain dedicated to our goal. We will succeed.”

EuroLife and General Insurance of Cyprus have for many decades now focused on the needs of the people, the society and the economy. This action is part of the CySupport initiative.
