Award for Corporate Social Responsibility

Within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility, EuroLife Insurance Company was awarded by the Minister of Education and Culture for its significant contribution to the “Argonaftis” job training program for young scientists.

This special event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute. The theme revolved around promoting sustainable schools and the “Tiganokinisis” initiative was presented. EuroLife was awarded for its contribution to the overall action through the Argonaftis program.

In her speech, Mrs. Pantelidou, EuroLife’s General Manager said: “I believe that our youth today has the knowledge, the dreams and goals. What it lacks is the means to implement them and to self-thrive. The innovative Argonaftis program has managed to give this unique option to our youth through work experience and research”.

“Argonaftis” is a pioneering and innovative work experience program that aims to engage the young scientists of Cyprus in applied research on environmental issues, an area very much needed in our country.

At the same time, it contributes to the reduction of unemployment and employment mismatching for young scientists.
